Description
This collection of Wollaston hand painted porcelain and glass vanity items features a matching motif of pink roses on a pale green and white ground. Many pieces are signed by the artist Wollaston, with manufacturer marks including Limoges France, Weimar Germany, M.Z. Austria, and Bavaria. One box is dated 1916. The assortment includes several electric candlestick-style lamps with hexagonal porcelain bases, multiple covered trinket and dresser boxes of varying shapes, a footed tray, a divided dish with a central handle, shakers, and small decorative vessels. Also included is a pink and white opalescent glass bowl with a ruffled edge and painted floral details.
