Description
This collection comprises an assortment of antique and vintage postcards, a dedicated postcard album, and a reference book. The postcards feature a variety of subjects including holiday greetings for Christmas and New Year, birthday wishes with floral and scenic motifs, and humorous illustrations. A selection of novelty leather postcards with comic illustrations and text is included. Topographical and travel-themed cards depict European landmarks and art from locations such as Paris, Rome, Naples, and Venice. Many of the travel postcards are housed in a black faux-crocodile textured album with the words POST CARDS embossed on the front cover. The accompanying reference book is titled The Collector’s Guide to Post Cards by Jane Wood, copyright 1984 with updated values for 1991. The items generally date from the late 19th to early 20th centuries.

Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
