Description
This still bank is constructed of cast iron and depicts a baseball player in a standing pose. The figure is modeled wearing a period-style uniform consisting of a buttoned jersey, knickerbockers, and a peaked cap, holding a bat across the chest. The item features a two-part mold construction secured by a single flat-head screw located on the reverse. A rectangular coin slot is positioned on the upper back of the figure. The surface retains remnants of polychrome pigments, including red, tan, and blue, over an oxidized metal base.
