Description
A collection of antique Art Nouveau and late 19th-century buttons, primarily constructed from brass, copper-tone, and silver-tone metals. These buttons feature intricate pierced and open-work designs with various motifs including floral and foliate patterns, geometric shapes, celestial symbols, and classical relief portraits. Several specimens are further embellished with colorful enamel, faceted glass paste stones, and cabochons in shades of red, blue, and turquoise. The items are displayed on a card labeled Pierced or Open Work.
Individual buttons range from approximately 0.25 inches to 1.5 inches in diameter. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $5 fee if you want to pick this lot up another day. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling. Shipping questions: [email protected].
