Description
An assortment of studio-crafted and artist-signed buttons presented on two display boards. These are buttons created in various styles and dates from the late 20th to early 21st centuries. The first board features several hand-painted and glazed ceramic buttons in floral and animal motifs, including a sunflower, teapot, and animal figures, attributed to Canadian artist Elizabeth Creith. The second board showcases a diverse assortment of buttons in materials such as glass, wood, shell, and plaster. Notable examples include an intricate iridescent glass button by Carol Wille titled Modern Lacey, an etched sailboat on white ground by J.P. Cox, and a carved pearlescent button by Noble Drake. Other represented artists include Kay Ferguson, Ed Hart, George Fausey, Phil Lidey, Brad Elfrink, Claudia Chalmers, and Shirley Thomas. The collection is accompanied by various artist information cards and labels.
Board dimensions: approximately 9 x 11 inches each Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
