Description
This collection consists of an assortment of antique and vintage buttons in various sizes and materials, including brass, silver-toned metal, molded resin, and shell. The pieces primarily feature neoclassical and Victorian-style relief profiles and cameos. Notable examples include a gold-toned button featuring the profile of Queen Elizabeth II inscribed ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D and a silver-toned button modeled after a Maria Theresa thaler inscribed M THERESIA D G R IMP HU BO REG 1780. The assortment includes various designs such as Medusa heads, classical female profiles, and filigree borders.
Measurements range from approximately 0.5 inches to 1.5 inches in diameter. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
