Description
An extensive collection of vintage glass buttons, including examples consistent with West German manufacture. The assortment is presented on three display boards, categorized by shank type as swirlbacks and rosette shanks. The collection exhibits a wide array of materials, primarily glass, featuring diverse colors and decorative techniques such as molding, overlays, internal swirls, and floral patterns. Notable styles include realistic forms, basket weave textures, and fleur-de-lis designs. The buttons are mounted on white, red, and cream-colored boards containing handwritten notations for identification.
Measurements: Individual buttons range from approximately 0.375 inches to 0.875 inches in diameter. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
