Description
This collection features vintage and antique buttons presented on three individual display boards. The first board is titled Rosette Shanks and showcases buttons in various colors and patterns, including striped, geometric, and floral designs, with some identified by handwritten notes as glass and shell. The central grey card displays multiple black and multicolored buttons, many accompanied by handwritten classification codes and descriptive terms such as Twisted Thread, Salt, and Shade. The third card contains a group of black and white buttons, with several pieces categorized by theme or technique, including Buckle, Insect, Leaf, Astrological, and Impression Inlay. The buttons are fashioned from materials including glass, shell, and potentially composite or metal. The items are mounted on original display cards featuring handwritten collector notations. An 18-inch wooden ruler is included in the images for scale.
Measurements: 18 inches (ruler length) Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
