Description
This collection of antique and vintage decorative buttons is primarily composed of metal with two translucent resin or glass examples. The buttons feature high-relief pictorial designs with themes relating to nature, the hunt, and fables. Specific motifs include stags, eagles, waterfowl, hunting hounds, and mythological or heraldic figures such as a rabbit beneath a crown. The pieces exhibit a variety of finishes and patinas, including bright brass, darkened bronze tones, and silver-washed highlights. The buttons are presented on a white card with blue grid lines.
Card width: approximately 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
