Description
A collection of Japanese buttons and miniature decorative objects featuring various artisanal techniques including casting, carving, and enameling. The assortment includes a hand-painted ceramic button in the Satsuma style depicting several figures, a mixed-metal button with bird and floral motifs, and cast metal pieces including a Noh-style mask and a dragon. Also present is a carved pale green stone floral piece, a blue enameled charm with a bell, a dark patinated metal disc with incised Japanese characters, and a circular carved piece depicting a warrior. The collection is accompanied by a miniature fabric kimono made of patterned brocade, mounted on cardstock with a signature and red seal stamp. A label with the Japanese text for button and the English phrase Button Lover is included.
