Description
A collection of buttons primarily crafted from iridescent mother-of-pearl and shell. The group includes various decorative techniques such as intricate carvings of floral, celestial, and geometric motifs. Construction methods include metal overlays, inset centers, and multi-layered onlay designs. Several specimens are noted in handwritten script as having a green snail base. Notable pieces include a large button with a crescent moon and star motif, an onlay button depicting a bird in flight, and various geometric shapes including octagonal and hexagonal forms. The items are mounted on a white display card labeled UNITED PEARL.
