Description
This collection of antique buttons is crafted from mother-of-pearl and features various decorative motifs rendered through carving and engraving. The assortment includes designs such as floral patterns, geometric arrangements, stylized figures, and architectural scenes, including houses and trees as identified by hand-written notations on the mounting card. The specimens exhibit characteristic iridescence with a color palette ranging from creamy white to deep, dark lustrous tones. The collection is comprised primarily of circular forms with a single square specimen included. The buttons are presented on a green display card.
Display card: 8 x 10 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
