Description
This collection of buttons is presented on a white display board labeled French Tights and Division I. The buttons are primarily constructed from metal with various finishes including brass, copper-tone, and silver-tone. Several examples feature a gold leaf decorative finish. The assortment includes a diverse range of relief-molded designs such as floral patterns, landscapes, animals including horses and birds, mythological creatures like gryphons, and nautical motifs including ships and anchors. Shapes include circular, octagonal, hexagonal, and square profiles. Several items are accompanied by handwritten descriptive notes on the board, including Sew Thru, Loop-Type Shank, Tinted/Fable, and Geo. Washington. A small plastic bag containing additional reference buttons is included with the lot.
Display board: 11 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
