Description
This collection of hand-painted buttons is composed of relief-sculpted Plaster of Paris, as indicated by a printed label on the display mount. The assortment features a wide variety of subjects including floral motifs, fruits, animals such as a deer head and a bird on a log, human figures in various dress, and objects like a pagoda and a cityscape. Many pieces are accompanied by handwritten ink identification labels on the white card mounts, such as Doe, Mask, and Fruit Basket. The items exhibit diverse finishes ranging from matte to high-gloss glazes, with some incorporating metallic gold-tone paint. The collection is presented on two separate display cards, one of which is housed in a protective plastic sleeve.
The display cards measure approximately 7.5 inches in width. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $5 fee if you want to pick this lot up another day. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling. Shipping questions: [email protected].
