Description
A Merwin Hulbert and Co. medium frame spur trigger revolver manufactured by Hopkins and Allen of Norwich, Connecticut. This single action firearm is chambered in .38 centerfire and features a nickel-plated steel finish. The revolver is fitted with checkered black hard rubber grips adorned with a lion’s head motif. The left side of the frame is stamped MERWIN HULBERT and CO. NEW YORK U.S.A. The top rib of the barrel displays the manufacturer’s name HOPKINS and ALLEN MFG. CO. NORWICH CONN. U.S.A. along with a series of patent dates including APR. 21, DEC. 15 74, AUG. 3 75, JULY 11 76, APR. 17 77, and MAR. 6 77. The piece carries serial number 5544 and is designated as a Curio and Relic (C and R). Barrel length: 3.5 inches. In house shipping is available. This firearm is at least 50 years old. If you have a C&R Federal Firearms License (Or other type of FFL) we can ship it to you, or hand it to you if you come here. If not we will have to ship to your Federal Firearms License recipient or you will need to undergo a background check here when you pickup. In-house shipping is available.
