Description
This C. Sharps Model Pepperbox four-shot pistol features 2.5-inch sliding steel barrels chambered for .22 rimfire. The firearm is constructed with a brass frame and fitted with smooth wood grips. The frame is stamped with C. SHARPS PATENT 1859 and PHILADA. PA. The serial number 4848 is marked on the bottom of the grip strap. The pistol utilizes a breech-loading design where the barrel cluster slides forward on the frame for loading. Barrel length: 2.5 inches. This item is either black powder or manufactured in or before 1898 (and does not take readily available ammunition), and thus does not require an FFL or background check. We can hand out to you at pickup or ship to the address of your choice. In-house shipping available. Pick up is Saturday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
