World War One photographs featuring United States A.E.F. soldiers “Clowning around” on board ship. the first photograph shows two U.S. soldiers wearing picklehaubes with hands raised while a 3rd U.S. soldier “captures” them at gunpoint – M1911 .45 Colt. The second photograph shows the 1st two U.S. soldiers plus a 3rd soldier who is wearing a German M18 Helmet “surrendering to the same soldier with the M1911 who in this photograph is also wearing a gas mask. Both photographs measure 5.5″ x 3,25”. Excellent condition. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
