Seventy volumes (complete) of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States (MOLLUS) War Papers reprinted by Broadfoot Publishing Company between 1991 and 1995. These original MOLLUS papers were published between 1887 and 1915 and includes many first hand accounts and anecdotes from the Civil War. The Broadfoot compilation is the most complete, especially having indexed the papers in a four volume index for the first time. Some of the papers had not previously been published until Broadfoot’s edition, including some photographs and biographies. These facts and the index make the Broadfoot MOLLUS the most comprehensive and accessible for researchers. This set is complete with no volumes missing. It has only had one owner. It was purchased by our consignor from Broadfoot Publishing at the time of publication and was immediately placed on bookshelves in a smoke free home and occasionally used for research. With the exception of very minor shelf wear this set is in near mint condition. Please see lots – for other books from this consignor.
