Civil War CDV of General Pierre Gustave Toutant-Beauregard. Full view standing image of Beauregard by Charles Fredericks 587 Broadway, New York. Clipped corners. Beauregard is known as the general who started the Civil War at Fort Sumter. After the Battle of First Bull Run, Beauregard was transferred West, commanding the Army at Shiloh and the Siege of Corinth. he returned to Charleston and defended it in 1863 from repeated naval and land attacks by Union forces. He is most known for his defense of Petersburg, Virginia. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
