A vintage Banthrico Inc. cast metal mechanical bust bank depicting Civil War Confederate General Robert E. Lee. The bank features a bronze-like patina, with the sculpted signature ‘R. E. Lee’ on the front. An oval plaque on the reverse reads ‘THE LEE COUNTY BANK FORT MYERS, FLORIDA’, indicating its promotional origin. The base houses a metal locking mechanism marked ‘BANTHRICO INC. CHICAGO, U.S.A.’. An original metal key, also inscribed ‘BANTHRICO CHICAGO U.S.A.’, is present and attached by twine. Height: Approximately 5.5 inches Width: Approximately 3.5 inches Depth: Approximately 3.5 inches. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
