Civil War regimental history of the113th O.V.I. regiment written by F. M. McAdams of Richwood, Ohio, and published in 1884 by Charles M. Cott & Co. Book Printers, Columbus, Ohio. This 400 page book includes a detailed 92 page roster, casualty lists for various battles, and a section titled “Knapsacks” which is a compilation of members’ stories – recollections. Overall very good, complete condition. Binding is tight with no loose or missing pages. There is minor wear. The 113th OVI was spent most of its service  in the Department and Army of the Ohio and Cumberland assigned to the Army of Kentucky then the 14th Army Corps. During its term of service they were engaged at  Chickamauga, Holts Mills,  Rocky Face Ridge, Near Kennesaw Mountain, Dallas, Georgia, Resaca, Cassville, Kennesaw Mountain, Chattanooga,Tennessee, Atlanta, Peach Tree Creek,  Jonesboro, Louisville, Georgia, Averysboro, and Bentonville, North Carolina. . The regiment suffered 119 officers and men killed or mortally wounded during the war.   Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
