Description
An Ethan Allen and Co. sidehammer pocket revolver, serial number 16619. This firearm features a 2.5-inch octagonal barrel chambered in .22 rimfire. The top of the barrel is stamped with the maker’s mark and patent dates: ETHAN ALLEN and CO. WORCESTER MASS / ALLEN’S PAT’S SEPT. 7. NOV. 9. 1858. SEPT. 24. 1860. The revolver is constructed with a steel frame, an unfluted cylinder, and bird’s head style dark wood grips. It utilizes a side-mounted hammer and a spur trigger design. Barrel length: 2.5 inches. This item is either black powder or manufactured in or before 1898 (and does not take readily available ammunition), and thus does not require an FFL or background check. We can hand out to you at pickup or ship to the address of your choice. In-house shipping available. Pick up is Saturday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
