Description
A collection of assorted textiles featuring a contemporary patchwork quilt titled An Apple a Day. The reverse of the quilt bears a fabric label stating it was quilted by Ada Sayre of Albany, Ohio, and sewn by The Quilt Fairy of Athens, Ohio, in June 2015. The quilt is composed of red, black, and white printed cotton panels arranged in a grid with a wide red patterned border. Also present is a traditional Double Wedding Ring quilt constructed with multi-colored patterned fabric rings on a white cotton ground, featuring scalloped edges and floral-motif quilting. The group is completed by a red and brown plaid wool-blend blanket with fringed edges and a green and yellow crocheted granny square afghan with a scalloped border. Patchwork quilt: 52 x 45 inches Double Wedding Ring quilt: 89 x 64 inches Plaid blanket: 41 x 36 inches Crocheted afghan: 70 x 46 inches . Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
