Description
A heavily weathered metal cut-out figure, likely constructed from sheet iron or steel, depicting a stylized horse with an abstractly painted rider or connected figure in a folk art style. The front surface features remnants of hand-painted decoration in primary colors including yellow, green, red, and blue. The reverse exhibits severe oxidation and rectangular metal plates attached with visible fasteners, suggesting a former mounting purpose such as a weathervane or sign. No discernible original text or manufacturer’s markings are visible. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
