Description
A group of pieces of American opalescent glass kitchenware manufactured by the H.C. Fry Glass Company under the “Oven Glass” line. The glassware exhibits a characteristic milky blue-white opalescence, most pronounced at the rims and thicker sections. The collection includes a fluted citrus juicer/reamer bowl, a rectangular baking or serving dish, an oval lid with a conical knob finial, a large round bowl (pie plate), a medium round bowl, small round nesting bowls, and a additional small glass stopper or knob component. pieces bear impressed markings on the base, including the maker’s mark “FRY OVEN GLASS, ” specific item numbers such as “1748- 1/4” and “1930, ” and patent dates “PAT 5–” and “PAT 5–19.” Rectangular dish . Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
