Description
A vintage Remington Shur Shot wooden ammunition crate, manufactured by Remington Arms Co., Inc. in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The crate is constructed from thick wooden planks secured with visible nail heads and features inset cutout handles on the end panels. The exterior displays original green and red stenciled advertising for Remington Shur Shot and Kleanbore Priming, including the DuPont oval logo. Technical specifications stenciled on the ends indicate the box was designed for 12 GA. 2 3/4 IN. trap loads and originally contained 500 shot shells. The stenciling also includes the text Small Arms Ammunition and Made in U.S.A. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
