But this time our consignor, who is downsizing, got it running and driving, which wasn’t a big job. Nice older restoration completed by our consignor and his late father about 30 years ago. ID# 6AC 39307. Was driven often and kept inside the barn. Does start run and drive. Has clean title. Front door handles will need attention inside and out. No signs of major issues, clean overall inside and out including underneath. Shows 24,076 miles on the odometer. Has the 6 cylinder engine. The Series AC was distinguished from the AB by the introduction of a new six-cylinder engine, the first Chevrolet with a six-cylinder since the 1915 Chevy series C Classic Six. Advertised as “A Six for the price of a Four”, it was only $10 more than the outgoing four-cylinder Series AB. Nice old car that could likely be road worthy without a great deal of expense or effort. Pay and pickup June 19 from 10 am to noon or by appointment. Cash, wire or cashier’s check only. No credit cards. Payment due by 5 pm on June 20. Must be removed by June 25 at 5 pm.
