Description
This collection consists of various United States Army insignia and uniform accessories, primarily dating from the Cold War through the Vietnam War era. The lot includes embroidered unit patches such as the 2nd Infantry Division shield featuring an Indian Head on a white star, Third Army circular patches with a white letter A, and a U.S. Army Alaska circular patch depicting a polar bear head and gold star. Also present are hourglass-shaped patches for the 7th Infantry Division and triangular patches attributed to the 98th Training Division with a yellow target motif. The assortment of rank insignia includes Specialist 4th Class, Corporal, and Sergeant chevrons, executed in gold embroidery on olive drab green wool or twill backgrounds. A yellow-on-black embroidered U.S. ARMY branch tape is included. The lot features two braided shoulder cords: a light blue infantry cord and a green and red unit award fourragère. Additionally, there is a small rectangular metal badge mounting frame with a leatherette backing and double clutch-back fasteners. The items are displayed on a white foam board.
Display board width: approximately 16.5 inches. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
