Description
This two-piece Western-style fringed ensemble is composed of natural tan-colored buckskin leather, likely deer or elk hide. The set includes a long-sleeved jacket, categorized as a leather overcoat, and a matching pair of fringed leggings. The overcoat features an open-front construction with a prominent pointed fold-over collar and tiered fringe across the chest and back yokes, as well as along the sleeve seams. The matching leggings are designed with heavy fringe detailing along the outer seams and are accented with dark brown leather whip-stitching. The set displays a hand-tailored appearance with raw-cut edges throughout. This style of garment is characteristic of the attire worn by the green actor in mid-century Western productions. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
