Description
A United States military issue Type CWU-45/P Cold Weather Flight Jacket manufactured by Jay-Dee Sportswear, Inc. under contract DLA100-84-C-0795, dating to 1984. The jacket is constructed from a sage green 100% aromatic polyamide Nomex shell, designed to be fire-resistant. It features a heavy-duty front zipper closure with an interior storm flap and a pointed collar. The garment includes two large, slanted front cargo pockets with hook-and-loop fastened flaps and a zippered utility pocket on the upper left sleeve. Coordinated olive drab ribbed knit material finishes the waistband and cuffs. A rectangular hook-and-loop patch field is located on the right chest. The interior label is present and provides technical specifications, laundering instructions, and the name R. P. Mason handwritten at the top.
