A collection of silver-toned pictorial hardcover volumes from the World War II series published by Time-Life Books. This group of quarto-sized books features boards decorated with historical black-and-white photography and titles rendered in bold red, yellow, or gold lettering. The visible titles in this assortment include Red Army Resurgent, The Road to Tokyo, The Battle of the Bulge, Liberation, The Resistance, The Air War in Europe, Return to the Philippines, War Under the Pacific, The Aftermath: Asia, The Fall of Japan, Victory in Europe, The Neutrals, and Bombers over Japan. Each volume is extensively illustrated with archival photographs, tactical maps, and technical diagrams characteristic of the Time-Life historical series. The spines are marked with the series title World War II and the publisher imprint for Time Life Books. These volumes were typically issued without dust jackets. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
