Description
This lot comprises a varied collection of United States military surplus, law enforcement tools, and mid-20th-century ephemera. Law enforcement items include a group of three batons: one traditional turned wood baton, one black polycarbonate straight baton with a ribbed grip, and one black side-handle baton in the style of a PR-24. Leather duty gear includes multiple black and brown leather belts with double-prong buckles, one of which features a decorative brass-tone buckle with the United States Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor emblem. A modern black nylon tactical-style holster is also present.
Military textiles and field equipment include an olive drab green canvas shelter half section, accompanied by two collapsible olive drab metal tent poles and one wooden tent stake. One metal pole is stamped with the mark U.S. Also included is a tan canvas laundry or personal effects bag featuring a white rope drawstring closure.
The collection includes a vintage Boy Scouts of America Lion-Webelos Book featuring the printed title LION-WEBELOS BOOK and the handwritten name Richard Mason in ink on the cover and interior. A modern scratch map titled the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA scratch map is contained in its original cardboard storage tube, marked MADE IN THE UK and WWW.SCRATCHMAP.COM. Additional items include a long brass firearm cleaning rod with a T-handle and a handcrafted wooden object representing a firearm stock or training tool. The entire lot is housed in a large blue industrial plastic transport crate. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
