Description
A large collection of United States military insignia and uniform accessories, primarily representing the US Army and US Air Force. The lot includes an array of non-commissioned officer (NCO) rank chevrons ranging from Corporal to Master Sergeant. These chevrons are presented in various styles including khaki with olive embroidery, olive drab (OD) green with black subdued embroidery, desert tan, and gold-on-blue dress variations. Specialty items within the lot include Combat Infantryman Badges (CIB) with one displaying a star for a second award, Master Parachutist wings on OD green backing, and embroidered glider/paraglider patches. Name tapes include multiple examples of U.S. ARMY in both vintage OD green and modern desert tan. A single subdued arc tab is present with the text RECON. The collection also features multiple bags of US Air Force enlisted chevrons in blue and silver. Two groupings of standard-issue military uniform buttons are included in dark chocolate brown and light tan shades.
The overall width of the display area as shown next to the ruler is approximately 18 inches. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
