Description
A collection of embroidered United States military patches and unit scrolls, primarily associated with Ranger and Airborne units of the Vietnam War era and later periods. The assortment includes multiple Airborne Ranger scrolls for various companies of the 75th Infantry Regiment, specifically companies A, B, C, D, K, L, and N. These scrolls are featured in both full-color red and black and subdued olive drab colorways. Also present is a Company D, 151st Infantry scroll and a II Field Force Vietnam (II FFV) Ranger scroll. The collection contains several shoulder sleeve insignia including a subdued 101st Airborne Division Screaming Eagle patch, a triangular 5th Special Forces Group RECONDO V patch, and a black shield-shaped patch featuring a silver arrowhead with a vertical sword. The patches are constructed of embroidered thread on fabric backings, with several showing white bobbin thread on the reverse side.
Scroll patches: approximately 4 inches to 4.5 inches in width
RECONDO V patch: approximately 3 inches in width by 4 inches in height
Arrowhead shield patch: approximately 2.75 inches in width by 3.5 inches in height. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
