Description
United States military aviation breast badge, identified as the Aerial Gunner or Aircrew Member wings. This is the 2-inch shirt-size version of the insignia. The design consists of outstretched feathered wings flanking a central circular device featuring a winged bomb over concentric rings. The reverse of the badge is stamped STERLING on the viewer’s left wing and 2S on the viewer’s right wing. Faint, illegible hand-scratched characters are visible in the central circular area. The item features a dual pin-back construction with brass butterfly clutch fasteners.

Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
