Description
A group of two Rookwood art pottery vases. The larger vase features a vellum finish with a hand painted floral design of pink blossoms on long green stems against a shaded blue to green gradient ground. This piece is dated 1926 and bears the impressed Rookwood sunburst logo, the Roman numeral XXVI, and model number 2544 on the underside, along with an incised artist monogram. The smaller globular vase is finished in a uniform matte lavender glaze with a subtle molded foliate motif. It is dated 1929 and bears the impressed Rookwood sunburst logo, the Roman numeral XXIX, and model number 2874 on the underside.

Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
