Description
This collection of American art pottery is produced by Rookwood and dates from the late 1920s to the early 1930s. The assortment includes a tall, slender cream-glazed vase featuring a contrasting turquoise interior, a mottled blue vase with a flared rim and embossed foliate patterns at the base, a pink and green-tinted matte jar with two square handles, and a small cream-toned tray adorned with a reclining nude female figure. Each ceramic piece is impressed on the underside with the Rookwood RP flame mark, Roman numeral date codes, and shape numbers. The cream vase is marked with shape 2304 and dated 1929. The blue vase is marked with shape 2477 and dated 1930. The handled jar is marked with shape 2102 and dated 1930. The tray is marked with shape 2595 and dated 1932.
Pink jar: 5.5 inches wide
Blue vase: 8.5 inches tall
Cream vase: 7.5 inches tall
