Description
This late 19th-century Victorian-era photograph album features a gold-colored plush velvet exterior and a decorative metal clasp. The internal cardstock pages are designed with a lithographed faux-wood grain finish and gold-toned borders. The album contains an assortment of cabinet card portraits including individual and family studies. Notable markings include the title Photographs in gilt script on the front page, along with studio imprints from Zanesville and New Philadelphia, Ohio, including The Boston Photo Gallery. Several handwritten identification notes are present for individuals such as Frank Gibbons and Dick Gibbons. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
