Description
Civil War 1/6th plate tintype of a Union soldier wearing a great coat and holding a rifle across his chest. The U.S. lettering is clearly visible on his oval belt plate. Affixed to his forage cap is an early dragoon style eagle insignia. Excellent clarity and contrast with no flaking or crazing. Image is housed in a half leatherette case. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
