Description
A collection of antique Victorian and early 20th-century black glass buttons. This assortment features a variety of styles, including molded, faceted, and decorative designs. Construction methods represented include pierced, pin-shanked, and riveted glass, as well as components fashioned from glass cane. Many buttons exhibit intricate patterns, gold-toned metallic accents, or lustrous finishes consistent with the Victorian aesthetic. The lot is accompanied by several informational display cards providing technical details on button types and manufacturing techniques. The items are presented in two black plastic trays.
Ruler measures 18 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
