Description
This collection of food-themed buttons features a wide variety of realistic and novelty designs organized on two display cards. The assortment includes dimensional forms shaped as strawberries, carrots, peas, bananas, corn, onions, peppers, apples, and grapes. Materials represented throughout the group include glass, celluloid, plastic, wood, polymer clay (FIMO), and ceramic, alongside metal buttons in brass and silver-tone finishes with embossed or enameled botanical motifs. Notable pieces include a large carved white circular button with a fruit and leaf motif, a detailed cornucopia, and hand-crafted ceramic notions. These items are buttons manufactured using various 20th-century techniques, including hand-modeling and intricate carving.
Each display card measures approximately 9 by 12 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
