Description
An assortment of novelty buttons featuring various aquatic themes including fish, dolphins, whales, starfish, and mermaids. The collection is composed of diverse materials such as carved horn, wood, pewter, malachite, coconut shell, mother of pearl, and rock crystal. One specific piece is inscribed STUDIO CJ-97. The buttons are organized on two display boards categorized as New(er) and Realistic. Construction methods include hand-carving, enameling, and ceramic molding. Some buttons feature inlaid shell or stone, while others are crafted from natural materials like coconut shell and wood with phenolic accents.
The display boards measure approximately 18 inches in total width. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
