Description
This collection of buttons is presented on three themed display boards titled Invertebrates, Indians, and Ivy. The assortment features various motifs including marine life, insects, botanical ivy patterns, and historical Indigenous American themes. The pieces are crafted from diverse materials such as brass, silver-tone metal, enamel, glass, carved shell, and molded plastic. Hand-written notations on the cardstock boards provide specific identification for various items, including Steel cup w/ V.I., IVY BORDER ON ROSE BUTTON, Rubber Beetle, and Handkerchief Corners. One board is noted as containing items not used on a 2014 competition tray. The buttons exhibit various manufacturing techniques including relief molding, enameling, and inlay.
Ruler: 18 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
