Description
This collection consists of vintage buttons and pins organized into four thematic categories: Hats, Globe/Map, Green Man and His Like, and Knots, Ties, and Ropes. The items are constructed from a variety of materials including silver and gold-tone metals, pewter, plastic, glass, ceramic, and horn. The Hat themed group includes various styles such as sombreros, top hats, and pith helmets. The Globe/Map group features a compass button with French cardinal directions (Nord, Sud, Est, Ouest) and a white button depicting a map of South America. The Green Man group contains several mythological-style face pins, including one identified by an accompanying note as pewter jewelry manufactured in Portland. The Knots group includes various braided and twisted designs, with one specifically labeled as a Celtic Knot. The collection is mounted on four perforated cardstock display boards.
Measurements: Each board approximately 8.5 x 11 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
