Description
An assortment of vintage collectible buttons primarily characterized by their hexagonal shape. The group features a diverse range of materials including glass, mother-of-pearl, carved wood, metal, and various plastics. Artistic techniques include hand-painted scenes of birds on branches and a cherub, as well as relief-molded metal designs featuring a crowned salamander with fleur-de-lis and a classical Medusa-style head framed by a Greek key border. Other pieces showcase geometric patterns, inlaid shell, filigree metalwork, and rhinestone embellishments. The collection includes examples consistent with Czech glass and Japanese Damascene styles. The items are presented on a display board with handwritten notations including HEXAGON and CORALOME ON POLYESTER.
