Description
A collection of antique and vintage buttons presented on three individual display cards. The first card features black glass and jet-style buttons arranged in a geometric pattern, exhibiting various molded floral and textured designs. The second card displays an assortment of multi-colored glass, ceramic, and metal buttons mounted on a hand-drawn diamond grid; this card includes a label for Stratford Auction Center. The third card is a categorized study board organized into sections including Carved examples, Dyed examples, Smoky shell, and A Variety of Shapes. Materials present across the collection include mother-of-pearl, shell, glass, paste, and brass.
