Description
This collection features an assortment of vintage and antique buttons, primarily spherical in form, professionally mounted on three display cards. The items are buttons crafted from a range of materials including molded and faceted glass, metal filigree, copper wire-wrapped spheres, celluloid, and semi-precious stones such as agate. Decorative techniques include hand-painted floral motifs, geometric carvings, swirl patterns, and rhinestone embellishments. The collection includes examples consistent with West German and Czech glass manufacturing. Specific items include a whistle button and buttons with internal glass bubbles as indicated by handwritten cataloging notes. The buttons are secured to three colored cards labeled Balls/Spheres and Balls.

Total width of display: approximately 18 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
