Description

A collection of vintage and modern glass buttons presented on two exhibition display boards. The first board features a variety of blue glass buttons in shades ranging from light to navy blue, identified as Division Three glass. Styles represented include enameled, lampworked, paperweight, moonglow, and luster finishes. Specific examples are labeled as Bimini type, Jari Sheese Studio, Gooderham, and J. Quimby studio. This board is accompanied by a First Prize ribbon and award card from the 2006 Buckeye State Button Society for the category of Crayon Blue thru Navy Blue colors of glass. The second board displays an assortment of modern green glass buttons in various sizes and shapes, including round, square, floral, and geometric forms. Textures include faceted, lacy, molded, and smooth finishes. The buttons are constructed primarily of glass with various attachment methods including metal shanks and sew-through holes.

Each board measures approximately 9 by 12 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
