Description
This collection of antique and vintage buttons includes a variety of styles and materials primarily from the Victorian era through the early 20th century. The assortment is presented on labeled display cards and features metal perforates with intricate openwork designs, perfume buttons with fabric or molded figural centers, and Victorian smalls constructed from wood with brass escutcheons and cut steel accents. Notable pieces include bright-cut pewter buttons, a rebus button featuring a donkey with the text OH YOU, and various metal buttons accented with glass ome centers, paste stones, or enamel. The buttons are crafted from materials including brass, pewter, glass, and wood, showcasing floral, geometric, and novelty motifs.
Display cards approximately 9 inches by 6 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
