Description
This collection of buttons is presented on two separate display cards labeled Victorian Floral and Victorian Picture Buttons. The assortment includes various Division I examples featuring botanical motifs, human figures, animals, landscapes, and mythical creatures. The buttons are primarily crafted from metals such as brass and silver-toned alloys, showcasing decorative techniques including casting, chasing, piercing, and enameling. The floral card features buttons with botanical designs, some with enameled details and openwork. The picture card includes buttons depicting human figures in various scenes, animals, and heraldic motifs, with one button noted as a fabulous creature in handwritten ink. Display cards: 11 x 8.5 inches each Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
